The 2024 Lake Forest Yacht Club Scholarship
The scholarship will award up to $2,500 to help toward an applicant’s higher education endeavor. The candidate must be a Lake Forest Yacht Club member in good standing as well as a 2024 graduating high school senior. Each applicant will write an essay explaining why they are the ideal candidate to be the recipient of the LFYC Scholarship as well as provide three (3) letters of recommendation. The online application is in pdf format and all entries must be typed. No handwritten applications accepted. Use a pdf editing application on your computer, such as Adobe, to enter all your data. Scholarship needs to be hand signed. Print completed application, sign and scan documents for email submission.

No mailed or hand delivered applications will be accepted. All applications with all scanned required supporting documents must be submitted via email to the club office by 11:59 PM on April 15th 2024.

Scholarship applications should be addressed to the LFYC Scholarship Committee and be e-mailed to the LFYC at: office@lfyc.org with e-mail delivery date no later than midnight on April 15th 2024.
The five members of the 2024 LFYC Scholarship Committee will evaluate all applications and make a decision on who will be the recipient of this year’s LFYC Scholarship. The recipient will be notified on or before May 1st, 2024.
